Here is a list of a few of my favorite organizations, and a little blurb about each, that I believe are gospel-centered and whose work is only made possible through donations.
1 Timothy 6:17-19 says, "Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life."
1 Chronicles 29: 9-16 says, "....For everything in heaven and earth is yours....Wealth and honor come from you...But, who am I that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand..."
Water Missions International- Water for Africa Project- This is a locally based international ministry that seeks to provide clean and safe water to places around the world. The core of their work is aimed at sharing the "Living Water" message.
Donate Fuel to MAF- Their mission is to share the love and message of Jesus to isolated parts of the world through aviation and technology.
DesiringGod.org- Online resource library that is free, available, and beneficial to many believers! John Piper and his staff are famous for this quote that I believe sums up their ministry well: "God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him."
Joshua's Way- Another local ministry, founded by Cole's dear late uncle, that reaches cross-culturally both here and abroad to impact lives "to know and to do".
Samaritan's Purse- I think you all probably know about this one!

This is wonderful! I give to Our Lady of Mercy Outreach (serving James, Johns, and Wadmalaw islands) as well as the Nieghborhood House at 77 America Street! I enjoyed reading this :)
